Mrs Mac Builds A Chapel

Mrs Mac passed away at nearly 101 years of age. She sometimes spoke about herself as an autumn leaf. “We are all like leaves on a tree in autumn. West winds blow, temperatures fall, and the green leaves from last spring turn shades of golden red. One-by-one, they fade, wither and fall. The longer the leaves stay on the tree, the more beautiful their shades – hues of crimson and gold. Some leaves survive the bitter winds, and they don’t fall until the new shoots of spring arrive to take their places. Eventually, the last leaves descend and return to dust. But there is hope, and the cycle of life goes on.
