Burma Still Needs Your Prayers And Action

Burma needs your urgent action, prayers and solidarity. Our reports from inside Burma say that the junta are now moving homeless cyclone survivors out of monasteries and schools into junta controlled camps and using them in forced labour to fix roads and other infrastructure. The wet season here is helping to rapidly spread water born diseases like cholera, but another cyclone has dissipated. The UN are saying at least 2.5 million people are now homeless, but the junta are still restricting international aid workers into Burma to help. The UN are also saying that only about 25% of survivors have been reached with aid so far. For as many as 150,000 people, any aid now is too late.
