Recently, Simon Clemow, my husband Mark, and myself (Val Zerna) had the tremendous privilege of visiting our Christian brothers and sisters in Vanuatu. It was a joy to share for two weeks a small part their journey as we traveled to five islands and enjoyed the Vanuatu lifestyle. Our aim was to visit as many places as we could where OMB partners with Vanuatu Conference in outreach and to join them for their 45th Annual Conference. In Port Vila we visited the Sarabetu and Sarabulu churches and were impressed to find them healthy and vibrant. Everywhere we went we were amazed by the awesome, passionate worship displayed. There was no sense of time restraint, usually no set order of service (as Mark discovered, you may suddenly find yourself the guest preacher!), no sheet music; just a passion for God, a shared love for each other, wonderful harmonious singing, and a joy in worship that we wished we could package and bring home with us.
