The Challenge of Mission to Gen Y

Reaching a lost world with the message of the Gospel is challenging. I have enormous respect for those who translate the Bible into unknown languages, live in remote places, and teach the message of Christ to those who have never heard. Mission is often pictured through these lenses, and in many cases this is often an example of cutting edge mission. Yet the concept of cross cultural mission has also become a necessary model of ministry for those of us who are working with the next generation of young people, Generation Y.

Yes, "Gen. Y" kids present a real challenge. They have little interest in 'churchy-stuff', including 'Bible-Bashing'. To meet their needs, try an "Incarnational Ministry" . It worked for me in Islamic Bangladesh where I was not allowed to "preach". http://keith.shorturl.com
