Treasuring the Space and the Stories

We live in a very complex age. Our lives are so cluttered with stuff…things we have to do, things we need to have, things we need to be. I have been reflecting lately about how much there is going on in my own life, and in dealing with people varying in age, about how much is going on for them too. We run our lives at such a frenetic pace, partly because we have to, and partly because we choose to. As I sit in the quiet this afternoon, the children have left, people are on their way home and I am just assessing the day that has been. It has been busy, good, but busy. I am in my element being busy. My family often comment on how busy I am, and occasionally I listen to them. I realise that in the busyness, life happens.
