An Instrument Of Worship

Lately Iíve taken to picking up my guitar and singing during my devotional times. Not that I can play very well or sing very well either, but I enjoy music and I know that God doesnít mind if I donít always hit the right notes. Itís good to just praise Him in the peacefulness of the lounge room when no-one else is around to hear how bad I sound. Each time I go to pick up my guitar, however, I have noticed that it is out of tune - sometimes only slightly, at other times so slack that the strings are virtually falling off. I think this is because my guitar gets played a lot by the other members of the family Ė strung, plucked, pinged and so forth. I also think that when I leave it sitting for a while it just has a tendency to go out of tune with boredom.
