Israel claims its policies of discrimination and repression of Palestinians in the Occupied Territories (the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem) are justifiable acts of protection against “Palestinian terrorist organisations”. Is this really the case? Merrill Kitchen and I were Churches of Christ members of a delegation of Australian church leaders to Palestine-Israel in December 2007. I wrote about our visit in The AC – and of the manifold injustices suffered by the Palestinians - soon after we returned, but left this important question of Israel’s security concerns for a second article. What follows are my own thoughts and conclusions, based on the visit and on reports and commentaries provided by various groups and individuals.

Dividing the land is unbiblical.
In Joel the Lord will judge those who have divide His Land.I will gather all nations
and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. [a]
There I will enter into judgment against them
concerning my inheritance, my people Israel,
for they scattered my people among the nations
and divided up my land.

Im not saying the Israelis are perfect, but surely we must obey God rather than Man.

God is not finished with Israel, see Romans 9,10 & 11

Too Many Churches believe in replacement theology, which makes God a liar as he made an everlasting unconditional covernant with Israel and He will keep it.
